The shop at Mason Neck was built in 2004 and has been modified and improved ever since. For many years now studio pieces have emphasized marquetry art.

Numerous types of furniture have been produced over the years, and "Fine Woodworking" magazine has published a variety of Mark's work, including a windsor chair, glove table, large deco cabinet, a display case, wedding chest, and multiple tables and cabinets with marquetry subjects.

Mark's work has also been featured in "Popular Woodworking" and "Home Furniture."

The newly built shop itself was profiled in a "Fine Woodworking" "Tools and Shops" issue in 2004. There is an article as well in the 2007 book "Great Workshops From Fine Woodworking".
